Vintage Garden Bench ~ Updated

My mom has used this formerly rusty iron garden bench as a plant stand. She gave it to me, but she might want it back now.

The seat was coming loose at one corner and I used E-6000 adhesive, C-clamps, and a couple of bricks to hold it in place overnight.

It worked like a charm.

I recycled a sturdy pillow with ragged corners to use as a pillow form. The key lime gimp along the seam came from a friend’s overflowing stash of fabrics and trims.

You can see it in person at Main Street Memorables, 531 East Main here in Norman.

Here are a few other things you’ll find at the shop.

Sage Green Upholstered Chair

This sage green upholstered chair is one of a matching set.

Jade Shelf

This jade shelf was pretty rough when we first saw it, but look at it now.
