I fell in love with this little stool a few weeks ago and couldn’t wait to clean it up and give it a new lease on life.
It was in pretty good shape for something you could buy at Woolworth’s five and dime back in the 50s. It would have been considered a “high-end” item at a whopping 79 cents.
A couple of gaps at one end of the bench needed to be tightened up and I wanted to clean and polish the wood.
And I wanted to be sure and keep the brand visible on the bottom.
FOLD’N CARRY STOOL
So this is what I did.
It’s not quite that bright in real life. It’s more of a crimson red. There’s just enough padding, whatever that means.
I found it advertised as a stool, milking stool, camp stool, child’s stool and folding stool.
So if you have a cow or a goat to milk, this is for you. It folds flat and could hang on the wall in a handy spot in the barn or in the garage, or more likely, you’ll use it in the kids room or den just for the fun of it or extra seating when you need it. Extra seating for a very small, or very bendy person.
Come see it at the flea market!
